CFHE's Ujamaa Cafe program launched in May 2021 first at the Hudson Pride Center and has grown to have 6 locations across New Jersey and now our newest in Philadelphia. The Ujamaa Cafe program uses smart fridge technology and community data to meet customers where they are around their nutritional preferences. We partner with local restaurants and food operators to provide a diverse food and allergen sensitive selection. Our work is data-driven and uses technology to remove barriers to accessing healthy, comforting food options.
