Hudson Pride Center & Coalition Equity Friendsgiving 2022

On Tuesday, November 22nd Coalition Equity @coalition_equity and Hudson Pride Center @Hudsonpridecenter alongside our restaurant affiliates @broritosft @cafe.peanut @coffeeandcornbread @oats_by_garnish @pitasquare @freetown_road_project hosted our annual Friendsgiving event serving 115 individuals and families thanksgiving meal bags filled with love and care to bring warmth and Friendship to this holiday week.⁠

For many in our community, Thanksgiving is not a time where tables are overflowing with home-baked goods, and homes are filled with laughter and celebration. Thanksgiving, in particular, can be a challenging time for those who may be experiencing food insecurity and financial hardships and a difficult reminder of loneliness or scarcity with its emphasis on food. ⁠

Our hearts are filled with gratitude and thankfulness for each individual who volunteered with packaging and delivering Thanksgiving meals to the members of our community.
